3 medium carrots finely shredded

250 ml warm water

1.5 tsp dry baker's yeast

2 tsp salt

2 tbsp of Wild Sage Foods Organic Moringa powder

Servings:

1 regular loaf

Instructions

Soften yeast in warm water.

To make this bread, start by activating (or softening) yeast in warm water.  Use the water needed for the recipe - not a separate amount of water.

TRICK: Fill a cereal bowl or large measuring cup with warm water.  Mix in a half teaspoon of sugar until the sugar granules are dissolved. The sugar helps activate the yeast.  After the water is still, sprinkle the dry yeast on to the surface of the water.  Ideally the water will stay at the top so you see when it's thoroughly softened, but it's ok if it sinks.  The yeast is softened after 20 minutes.  Bubbles may form within the softened layer at the top.

Then, add all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix until a moist dough forms. If you have a hand mixer or stand mixer with a dough hook, use that to make the mixing process even easier.  Of course, you can also do this by hand.  If so, mix the morgina and flour thoroughly before adding the seeds and the water with the softened yeast.  Once the dough is ready, spread it into prepared mini loaf pans and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Next, place the loaf pan on the middle rack of a cold oven and set the temperature to 200 °C. Bake the moringa bread for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the crust is lightly browned.

Once the bread is finished baking, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy it as a side dish to your favorite meal, or simply as a delicious and nutritious snack.
