About Onion Powder Organic

Onion powder had most of the onion's moisture removed (89% of onion is water), which inhibits the growth of microbes that cause food to spoil. As a result, its shelf life is a lot longer than the shelf life of fresh onions.

Storage and shelf life

Store onion powder in a cool, dry, airtight container, away from the sunlight and heat. Granulated garlic is less likely to clump in the bottle than garlic powder.

Onion powder, when stored properly, will retain flavor and potency for up to 2 years.

Shipping and delivery

The product is available for delivery and pick up from our store in de Pijp.

The product is delivered in recycled paper bags.

How to use

Sprinkle onion powder into soups and stews, dips and salad dressings, enhance casseroles and vegetables, or just use it as a base for rubs and marinades.

Use onion powder in any recipe that calls for onion. One tablespoon of onion powder is equal to a half cup of chopped onion.
