About Pecan Nuts Raw Organic

Pecans are related to hickory trees and are native to North America. They have a fresh, sweet nut flavour and aroma with a creamy texture, and softer than other varieties of nuts.

Storage and shelf life

Store pecan nuts in a cool, dry, airtight container, away from the sunlight and heat.

Pecans, when stored properly, will keep their taste and texture for 6 months. For longer storage, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge or in the freezer up to 1 year.

Shipping and delivery

The product is available for delivery and pick up from our store in de Pijp.

The product is delivered in recycled paper bags.

How to use

They are a delicious nut to snack on, or added to a range of raw foods, baked goods and savoury recipes. Freshly ground Pecan meal (or flour) and nut-butter are also popular and easy to make.
