How to use
Rooibos is prepared with freshly boiled water at 100°C. Do not let the water boil so that sufficient oxygen remains behind to which the Rooibos can bind.
Preheat the cup or teapot by rinsing it with a little hot water. Give the Rooibos enough space.
Use 2 teaspoons of tea per cup and let it steep for 5 minutes. Rooibos can be served several times.
Other interesting information
Rooibos is made using leaves from a shrub called Aspalathus linearis, usually grown on the western coast of South Africa. Traditional rooibos is created by fermenting the leaves, which turns them a red-brown color. It is a flavorful, caffeine-free alternative to black and green tea.
Our organic Rooibos blend is prepared with high quality Rooibos mixed with aromatic spices.
