Storage and shelf life
Store White beans in a dry and sealable food storage container – we recommend glass. Keep the container in a cool, dry and dark area out of the sun and heat.
Borlotti beans, when properly stored, have a shelf life for up 1 year.

The product is available for delivery and pick up from our store in de Pijp.
The product is delivered in recycled paper bags.

How to use
White beans require some preparation before cooking as most beans.
Place the beans in a large bowl and add enough water to cover the beans by 5cms.
Let stand at room temperature for 6 to 12 hours. Drain the beans, rinse 3 times and drain well again.
Place the beans in a large heavy-bottomed soup pot and add enough fresh bottled spring water to cover the beans by 5cms. Bring to a boil and skim any foam that forms at the surface.
