About Cacao Nibs Raw Organic

Cacao nibs have the bitter and complex flavor of dark chocolate, with a crunchy texture. You can toast raw nibs in a skillet before you use them to take down the bitterness and give them a little nuttiness and even more crunch.

These nibs are loaded with nutrients and powerful plant compounds that have been shown to benefit health in many ways. They are naturally low in sugar and a good source of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

Storage and shelf life

Store cacao nibs in a cool, dry, airtight container, away from the sunlight and heat.

Cacao nibs, when stored properly, will keep their taste and texture for 6 months.

How to use

The raw cacao nibs have a strong dark bitter chocolate flavor. Use them in smoothies or sprinkle them over your breakfast to improve taste and health. They are eaten directly or roasted. Use directly or processed in energy bars, chocolate, fine chocolate, desserts or bakery products.

Other interesting information

The cocoa beans are selected by hand from ripe fruits that are harvested in small family gardens. The beans are fermented, dried, cleaned and carefully roasted at a temperature below 45ºC. After cooling, the grains are peeled and the foreign material is removed from the seeds, obtaining a quality product

Native to the upper Amazon region, cacao beans grow in a narrow belt extending 10 degrees on either side of the equator. The main producers are in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote D'Ivore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
